Heather Dear...I miss you so. I am loving your vlogging. It is giving me a small bit of happiness just seeing you. And yes, coffee is good any time of the day. Love and miss you lots, J
I agree withh Hilltopper - enchanting! :) Don't hate me Heather but I'm 63 and never had acne and have almost no wrinkles and don't wear makeup base because I don't need it. I claim no credit for this but what can I say, God loves me. And my Mama had good genes. I did love the Smashbox blush you told us about a long time ago and if you have a powder blush to "layer" over it I'd love to hear about it! blessings, marlene
*Yes, I am with you in spirit. Will text you while watching New Moon. I'm sad I won't see it with you and Tiffany. We're ON for Breaking Dawn, though. Right?
*I need a pumpkin spice.
*I will be over 35 in just a couple of weeks.
*You know you got me on the Make Up Forever Matte Velvet well over a year ago. And Tiffany got me on the HD Powder. THIS IS WHY I LOVE Y'ALL! Amen.
*You do not have fine lines.
*I always conceal for the Lord. But you look better doing it.
p.s. I am the most enchanting girl on your list. Of course.
I love the concept of vlogging in the closet- that may be the only way to avoid the mindless chatter of my children in the background- you are a genius as usual!
Oh and I'll probably be seeing New Moon by myself, too. Hubby is supposed to go with me, but I imagine that a few hours before his arthritis will start flaring, and he'll have to stay home.
i really did just watch all 7 minutes and laughed ALOT. you are so cute! :) stoppin over from Mama Kats I feel like everyone should blog in their closet.. excapt we dont have walk ins.. so it would be really silly if I did..
oh and I like that print of the flower top?? bottom?? whatever behind you :)
I saw that lotion line at B&BW and refused to even smell it. On principle. So. Over. It.
Lula was telling me about that makeup. I have a terrible time finding makeups that match my skin tone. And the heavier stuff always feels so THICK. I have tried everything. But since you ladies give such strong testimonials, I might just have to give it a go. I am due for a Sephora trip. Not that I need a reason to wander the gilded aisles of Sephora, but the parking is a beyotch there, so having a purpose seals the deal. Maybe today even. :)
Proactive tore me up! Maybe you'll have better luck than I did. My over 35 skin just couldn't take it.
Okay, so let's go hit Twilight together since I only have my weird Canadian neighbor to go with (emphasis on the weird, not the Canadian, before I get hate mail). We'll go hit up Starbucks for some crack, get a makeover on the way, and Jacob it up (or Edward, really, it doesn't matter because neither of them look like they're supposed to look. But now I can't remember how they are supposed to look because the movie screwed with my imagination Edward/Jacob)
You are so cute in your little closet there! I wish you lived closer because I'm going to see New Moon by myself too. Everyone else was busy or was going to see it on a different day. Oh well, poor me, I'll have to enjoy all that awesomeness all by myself (along with 500 other women!). Thanks for the over 35 makeup tips. I've never used base very much and I'm getting to the point where I should so I appreciate the tips. Have fun at the movie!
Your closet vlogging is awesome. I wish I could do that but I don't have a great walk in -yet- and I ripped the doors off 'cause they made me so mad....so that probably wouldn't work. Hmmmmm. I guess I could lock myself in the bathroom but I think it echoes in there....sigh. Anywho, I hear ya on the New Moon issue. All my friends who love the books like I do live in my computer. My friend Maria did go see it with me though. All I will say is that I personally thought it was a bajillion times better than the first one - that was a hott mess. If I still lived in AZ I totally would have gone with you ;)
This is my first visit to your blog from SITS and I LOVE it!!
I'm going to have to check out the foundation because I have these lovely spots that appeared over my lip while I was pregnant with my last son and my husband teases me about having a mustache. Yeah, not a fan of him when he does it. Anyways, nothing covers them. They are like 2 big age spots above my lip. Hate them. Gonna have to try this. Thanks for the tip!
I've been so tempted to try vlogging, and this is just fabulous. I loved watching your vid and I loved everything you had to say. Also? They totally put crack in the coffee at Starbucks. I really want to check out Sephora. And I'm very curious about this Smashbox everyone's talking about. I'm going to have to go on a search now!
Heather - you just make me smile - so fun to see you "for real" and to talk "girl talk" and I enjoyed your compete awareness of who you are, from your likes of Twilight to your self-description of being "enchanting" to the flip of your "non-existent hair" - you are so self-aware... loved the recording in the closet and look forward to seeing more... thanks for the make-up tips, too! Oh, and Pro-Active - watch out for bleaching of your bedsheets and clothes - I had to up to "extra-strength" to see good results, but eventually quit using it because of the undesirable bleaching effects... check out the skin care line (for acne) at Bath & Bodyworks the next time you are there - it is awesome!
Welllllll...since I have not seen you in church "concealing for the Lord", I figured I better check your blog out as a first timer and make sure you are still alive. You are a hoot and I agree that "coffee in the closet with Heather" has a certain ring. I am with you and have often been found drinking coffee at 10pm at night even though I believe it has little to no effect on me. Anywho..Happy Turkey Day...miss ya!
35 Brilliant people's junque:
The best part about this video was that you had already done an entire video beforehand.
Which means you were sitting in your closet for like 15 minutes.
And do you like how I act like I have never done such a thing??
Actually I win...because I locked myself in the BATHROOM with a pint of ice cream for AT LEAST that much time and it wasn't even vlog worthy.
Next time I'm bringing the camera.
And there WILL be a next time.
I must have that makeup. Today. Much love girlfriend!
I about lost it when I heard the word "Milk" come out of your mouth! What's weirder is that I was almost kind of waiting for it. I rolled. The end.
Milking or not, I think I want that concealer! I've been working with some bags b/c of my stupid allergies. ick.
Love your closet vlogs, lady! Keep 'em coming!
L-O-V-E you vlogging. "I concealed for the Lord,"....too funny!
Loves it!!! I own Twlight Woods body lotion as well and yes they do put crack in Starbucks...
If I had a closet I could sit in, that's probably where I would record my VLOGs as well - lol!
Happy Monday and Happy SITS Day!
Heather Dear...I miss you so. I am loving your vlogging. It is giving me a small bit of happiness just seeing you. And yes, coffee is good any time of the day. Love and miss you lots, J
I bought Twilight Woods, too! Smells SOOOO good.
I never conceal for the Lord. Maybe I should start- being nearly 35 and all....
Welcome back! Love the closet vlogging:-)
I think that you are onto something. Coffee in the Closet with Heather.
I am so in love.
That make sounds like something I need. Especially the concealer. So tired of looking tired under my eyes. Thanks for the recommendations.
You Rock!

I can't watch with sound right now, which makes it a little pointless, but you look super cute! ;)

I'm still laughing that your original vlog did not record and you had to do it twice. I love your sweet voice!
I loved watching you. I am going to start doing this once I get my new computer
I love this, great idea! but my closet is way too small haha!
I'll totally do this sometime, and you can all have a laugh at how I totally won't fit in my tiny little galley closet!
The
PU EKAM
REVEROF
sounds awesome!! I'll have to see if I can get some .... being over 35 and all! lol

Hello I have just found your blog. Your video was awesome! What a great post of yours to first read.... now I will track back and work my way back...!

We all get our motivation from different places. I love that yours is vlogging in the closet! And very funny!!

You know, I just might try my hand at vlogging!
Ah...the closet....the only place a mom and wife can TRULY be alone :)! Watching you talk...now I feel like I really know you :)
I thoroughly enjoyed watch this- I am an 8:30 at night coffee drinker as well.
OMG. Definitely have to try the Make Up Forever. Btw, cracked up over the "crack in the coffee". Too Funny.
You are so stinking cute I can't handle it. And um, hello exposed chest! I love how you read the Twilight Woods fragrance...so enchanting. :)
